Training & Consultancy
In Resin Bound installations, there is not yet an accredited type of qualification for any external installations, there are only manufacturers training, which at Resin Bound Surfacing Specialists, we are an accredited installer and we are often asked by the manufacturers to join them on training days. This will be at a contract they are running and we will work with and train a new team of installers.
We support the manufacturer to improve the quality of works in the industry, as until there is a formal accredited qualification anyone is able to set up in business.
Training
Mark Wilding our Managing Director has an NVQ Level 2, Internal Resin Jenflow Systems Limited, which was accredited by City and Guilds and is in Decorative Resin Flooring.
Consultancy
We offer a consultancy survey visit if you have had a driveway poorly installed and you need a second opinion on the works carried out. We do not have professional indemnity insurance so can only give you our personal opinion on the works carried out, but we can evidence this with examples of how the works should have been done and take photos and provide a written report to support out visit.
The survey is charged at a nominal fee to cover our time on site at £100+vat, we also have to charge a milage if the site is more than 30 mins drive from our offices, this is also at a flat rate of .45p per mile and will be invoiced at the time of submitting the report, we usually have the report back to you with in 24 hours of the site visit.
